Mobileed Project

These pages will document our experiences using cell phones with upper elementary/middle school age students.  We are partnering with Richard Scullin http://www.mobileed.org and we will develop a minimum of three demonstration activities using mobiles.

 Project one developed from a math class discussion.  The students have been collecting and analyzing data.  As part of a school celebration, students are being encouraged to walk, bike, or ride the bus to school to save energy.  The incentive is an iPod Shuffle raffle for those who participate all week.  The first project will gather data on how students travel to school before the incentive week.  We will look at any changes during the incentive week and then gather data after the incentive week has ended.
